Making a major financial decision takes time and research. CommunityAmerica offers free financial calculators to help you make informed decisions for your financial well-being. Every calculator has an option to email the results to yourself for future reference. Here are some of CommunityAmerica’s most popular calculators.

Profit Payout Calculator

As a not-for-profit credit union, we return our profits to those who bank with us in many ways and one way is our Profit Payout*. To be considered a qualifying household, you’ll need a product from three out of six categories here to become eligible.

Profit Payout Calculator
: Enter your average balances to calculate your potential payout. The higher your average balances are across the categories, the greater your payout could be.

Auto Payment Calculator

Calculating what you can afford per month for an auto loan payment will help you determine how much car you can afford. The length of the loan and the interest rate you qualify for are also factors that determine your monthly payment.

Auto Payment Calculator: Estimate your monthly auto payment by entering the vehicle’s purchase price, your trade-in information, the down payment, the interest rate and term of the auto loan.

Loan Payment and Loan Payoff Calculators

If you need to borrow money for a loan, the interest rate and term (the length of time you must repay the loan) will determine how much the monthly payment will be in the Loan Payment Calculator. To determine when your loan will be paid off, the Loan Payoff Calculator can be used to determine how much faster you can pay off your loan if you add more to your monthly payment.

Loan Payment Calculator: Determine your monthly loan payment and see the impact the loan amount, interest rate and loan term have on the total loan amount.

Loan Payoff Calculator: Determine how much longer you will need to continue making regular payments to pay off your loan. You will need your loan balance, annual percentage rate and your current monthly payment.

Retirement 401(k) Income Calculator

A 401(k) plan is a retirement plan offered by many employers. Many employers will match part or all the employee’s contribution. They say “time is money” and starting to invest early is a key component to building wealth over time.

401(k) Retirement Income Calculator: Find out how adding a small percentage of your salary each month could impact your total 401(k) savings at retirement.

Mortgage Payment Calculator

When you’re pre-approved for a mortgage, it can be difficult to understand how much you can actually afford. Use this calculator as a guide to determine how much your mortgage payment would be and how different factors can impact that amount. For example, if you have 20% as a down payment, it’s very likely you won’t have Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) to pay. See how the term can impact your monthly payment.

Mortgage Payment Calculator: Once you know your home buying budget, see the impact the interest rate as well as property taxes, homeowners’ insurance and private mortgage insurance (PMI), can have on your monthly payment.

Certificate of Deposit Calculator

A Certificate of Deposit, or CD, is a place to park your money and earn a higher interest rate than a typical savings account. Typically, the longer the term, the higher the rate. But always be on the lookout for CD specials. See how rate and term can grow your money.

Certificate of Deposit Calculator: Determine the potential interest growth and tax liability on your Certificate of Deposit.
